A Welsh hello!!

Hi all,

Little intro......My name's Nikki (I'm actually a guy but my parents tucked me up at birth with the spelling!!), I'm over in Wales, UK, and 2 weeks ago bought my Dooper in replacement for a very unreliable but bags of fun MG TF160.

So the car.......What I know about the car is it's a 58 plate Cooper Diesel in PW, 64K Miles 17" Crowns, Black Half Leather, MFSW, Climate Control, Xensons and that's all I know at the moment as the dealer didn't know too much to be fair (Was a Honda/Mazda not a MINI Dealership). I cleaned the car earlier and only then noticed that it had Xenons which I was ecstatic about, and earlier adjusting the mirrors I turned the **** to far (steady!) and was suprised to see my mirrors folding up, so I'm going to speak to my local MINI dealership tomorrow to get it's spec list when it was new to see if I can find out a bit more.

First impressions I absolutely love the car, obviously a lot more comfort than the MG even with 17" wheels, but fun too!! I do like a spirited drive here and there and the way it takes corners is addictive .

My windows have already started giving me a headache as they squeal and go up and down really slow, even stopped yesterday so need to get it sorted while under warrantee. As it's both windows does it seem like a motor problem or is it due to the rubber slowing the windows down in the hot weather?

Congrats on the new car!

You can also run your VIN through a BMW decoder (I like this one: http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html ) and it'll give you lots of info on the original build. Probably about what the Mini Dealer would do.
