Potential new MINI owner

Yesterday I looked at an 05 Cooper S. At the moment I own a 02 WRX but that will be getting sold if I decide to purchase this MCS. I have searched but haven't been able to find quite what I'm looking for. I do pretty much all of my own work on the WRX between repairing it and modding it, maybe except for a clutch or the like but not against trying. So would the MCS really cost that much more to own than the WRX? I mean the WRX parts aren't super expensive but it's not a Civic either. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

MINI expenses

MINI parts will typically be more expensive as they are BMWs.
