I wave, but nobody else does
Hello all,
I just joined the family in March. Got my hands on "Beyonce", my 2008 MINI Clubman S. She's fully-loaded and sexy as hell, just like Beyonce. I always wave to other MINI's when I'm out driving. Nobody else waves, but I'm trying to start a grassroots waving campaign here in Pittsburgh![LOL](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif)
I had one question if the welcoming committee wouldn't mind answering -- is Lucas Oil Stop Leak safe to use?

The wave has diminished since I purchased in '07, but just keep doing it. I've found I get return waves from some of the regulars I pass. They have even begun to initiate them! Keep it up.
Lucas Oil Stop Leak - No experience with it. But... If you have a leak in a MINI, find out where it is coming from and fix it. Low oil and MINIs don't mix, especially an "S".

It all depends upon where you live.
In parts of SoCal you can easily spot 20+ MINIs on your commute to work. It's not uncommon to see 2 or 3 at the same intersection.
With that many MINIs around the novelty is just not there.
Roadsters however are still rare, and while not quite a wave there is often an appreciative smile and a nod.
