First time, proud MINI owner!
I have wanted one for years and finally pulled the trigger. Purchased a 2011 R56 JCW, Eclipse Grey. I'm just mad that I waited this long

enjoy!! its been a blast for me so far my '10 fJCW keeps surprising me too, just last weekend labor day camping, full gas tank was enough for 400 miles hwy/city combined. Such a relief coming from g37s lol :D

Coming from a 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 the gas mileage is a WELCOME change.

why do people refer to them as "F" model whatever, jcws, ect.?

what does the F stand for?

I believe F=Factory. For example, some people get JCW from factory and some put the package on aftermarket.

That, and the first of the 'newer' JCWs didn't have a factory option so the Gen1s (and a few Gen2s?) had to have packages added to be JCW-equipped.
