New to forums, not to the cars. 02' R53

Had a chili red r50. But my baby got destroyed by a 2500 Cummins. A year later I just got my love back into my life. My 02 r53. Chili red, 142k on the clock, and already one ball mod, 3 days later. I have quite a bit of knowledge about these cars, and cars in genera I am studying to be an automotive technician, and already am quite knowledgeable about cars, and would love to help you out with any questions you have.

Thanks for the pics, not too many 02' R53 around. Funny to seeing it without heated seats option being up north. And it has the rare R86 wheels. wow. 36116755809

You're welcome! I forgot to mention my location in the post, I live in Massachusetts, so if anyone in the area ever wants to meet up, or set up a mini meet, I'd be glad to help out, or anything really. Send me a private message for my contact info.

I'm very happy with the car, no oil leaks, so far I haven't even noticed any oil consumption. Window motors are a little weak, and some rusty coming up the bottom of the doors, and scratching on the hood. Small tears in the driver seat left side bolstering. Clean otherwise. Can't complain for $4500.

Any ideas on an issue with the license plate bulb sockets not receiving power?

May have some water damage on the hatch handle, does it not get power via voltmeter test? Anyways nice looking car, I've never seen those wheels before.

License plate light issue

One of the two bulbs was working when I got the car, but now they're both out. I'm kinda tired of ducking the cops at night lol. But I've tested with volt meter and a test light. No power. I even used the battery ground to check for power, still nothing. So it can't be just a ground issue, it's could be a power and ground issue, but deff need to figure out why I'm not getting power first.
