Hello from New Jersey!

Hi! I own a 2012 Mini Countryman S All4. Currently, I am having a lot of issues with my car....it stalls/lurches/bucks/loses power in the cold. Several times bucking and losing all power at highway speed. I've had it to the dealer multiple times over the past couple of years with these problems and they've replaced the timing belt, water pump, oxygen sensors, spark plugs, crankshaft sensor, they also reprogrammed the computer among other things. The final straw was when it continually lost power on my way to work, I had it towed two weeks ago to the local Mini dealer...a PUMA case was opened as this has been an ongoing issue for the past couple YEARS and the engineers and techs have been puzzling over the case since the car was dropped off. The car was acting up for them in the cold, then it warmed up and hasn't acted up again... I contacted MiniUSA about the issues with the car - and their response was that they are 'bummed' to hear about the car. I don't know what's going on with the car or what to do about the car.

In reading through the info on the link the new vehicle can't have over 24,000 miles on it and I didn't purchase it used.

Welcome to NAM! This behavior only exhibits during cold weather? Have they checked the throttle body to make sure it's not sticking? What codes did they pull from the system?
