New Guy
Just bought a new to me mini Cooper. It's a 2011 countryman s. Love the car so far. Although I am having an issue with the stereo which I believe is the standard non hk. When driving today it will go from high volume to very low volume and i am unable to adjust the sound up. After about 5 or 10 minutes I will be able to adjust the sound.
I posted it in the 3rd gen audio forum (hopefully that's the right spot) anyways any help is appreciated and I look forward to learning about my car.

Welcome.
No amp for the NON HK, it uses the amp in the unit. Sounds like you have a faulty head unit or the head unit needs reflashed.
Do you have a good code reader , if you have this it will read the Head Unit fault codes.
