Greetings all! We just purchased today a new F57 Cooper S convertible in Melting Silver, automatic transmission, heated seats, LED headlights, and Harman/Kardon head unit. We picked it up off the lot, would have gone with just the Premium package but decided this was close enough.

We're in Maryville, IL, just across the river from St. Louis, MO. This is our first Mini, having spent the last 9 years with a couple of Mazda Miatas. We LOVED our Miatas but I began to have some problems with my right hip that made it a challenge to make long trips in the Miata and the back seat will be handy for additional luggage and the occasional trip with the dog in the back seat. 9 years with the Miatas with no failures, not even minor. I know earlier Minis have had more than their fair share of problems but hope this F57 with the BMW motor will be reasonably reliable. I look forward to interacting with all of you in the forums.

That's great! Would love to see some pictures. I'm originally from Illinois and have raced against my fair share of Miatas! Looking forward to hearing more about your upcoming adventures with the F57!

Ships? I can't say, didn't notice. LOL. The one on the left is moored at "The Loading Dock" in Grafton, IL, on the Mississippi River. The Loading Dock is a popular weekend refuge for those needing to quench their thirst.
