Hello from Oregon

I've been wanting to do some scca events. My car still needs some things before I get to that. I think my ball joints need to be replaced, I have some loose steering even with poly bushings. Additionally since my car is slammed on coil overs I need to make some sway bar end links. I bet a stock mini handles better than my car right now, pretty much like having no sway bars since they're so off spec.
Also even with Alta ic boots, 16psi seems to make them leak.

I got over 12 inches in two days and three of my six Minis were outside. One with both windows down two inches! Grrrrrr
It is in the shop drying out now.
In other news, I purchased new Cooper tires for my 05 Mini S. I decided not to use run flats, this time!
I got all season for it, as winter is on it's way. I will get summer tires this coming spring. I have been using Dunlop's for summer and they grip real nice in the mountain roads here!

Quirky, Super handling, Powerful,Economical, Dependable (usually), comfortable for most size people, Quality built, English and German and this is the culmination of two worlds of thinking!
They are really only a two seater.
Let's not forget a bunch of aftermarket parts and tuning!
Like the first Mini Coopers, I want to keep these alive!

I wanted an original, but my first car (which I still have) was a 1970 MG Midget. I had sold it to my Father when I went off to the Army. While I was deployed he dropped easily $10k in restoring it to near mint condition. I got it back when he passed away. That baby stays in the garage unless there is not a cloud in the sky. So I have one British classic in my garage, but I didn't want the electrical headache of a second. Yet I still wanted a MINI, so here I am in an '05 MCS.
Welcome to Mini. They are all a fun drive.
