Don't know a whole lot about these cars just have always liked them and wanted one. Finally found the right one for the right price I have a 30 day bumper to bumper so
If anyone has any ideas of what to check so the dealer can fix it let me know. Thanks in advance.

Welcome.
I hope it's worth the ride...
Check to make sure there are no leaks, don't look on the ground, get the car up in the air and check for oil, tranny, coolant leaks. Do you have a car history. I noticed from the sticker that says, " Economy Car"...lol. I do mixed driving in Atlanta traffic and I average 25mpg. I guess if you're coming from a large SUV, that's economical. They are a blast to drive, good luck and enjoy.

Congratulations and welcome to the Hyper Blue Owner's Club!

There are several common issues to check including the crank pulley, thermostat and gasket, coolant tank, belt and tensioner, rust behind the tailights and in the door sills under the rubber trim, passenger side motor mount, and loose sunroof drain tubes.

Another thing is mushrooming strut towers. It's hard to tell from the small picture above. Do you have a larger version of the pic above, or can you post a shot of your strut towers?

Welcome, was this car sold to you as "accident free"? It looks like you're missing some radiator foam, which is usually indicative of a front end collision, most repair facilities don't feel it necessary to replace the foam seals on the new rad or core support.

The car fax show no accidents. I'm the 4th owner and the first 2 were leases. The mileage is all accurate as far as the dmv and car fax show. Let me see if I can get a better picture of the struts

The pics are a little too close, but it looks like the rubber in the strut mounts is still in good condition. Here's a post from another thread with some pics of mushrooming, especially on the drivers side, and the angle which would show the mushrooming in pics. If you look at the studs, they are pointing away from each other, instead of remaining parallel. It's from this post: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...shrooming.html

R53

Congrats, I love that blue! Wish my R53 was that color. I picked up mine earlier this year and it's been a blast ever since. If you're getting all that work done under warranty you should be in good shape. Any questions, please ask!

Did you end up getting all that work under warranty or did they not do it? If they did that would be awesome! I guess there is a bonus when buying a car from a lot with a bumper to bumper. Didn't know you could do such a thing.

I haven't taken it back to them yet. I have to drop it off this week. I'm interested to see if they cover it or not. They might give me some grief. Typical of dealers tho lol
