Really NEED Help! Bentley Manual is Useless!

So... I'm nearly finished with an engine build on my 2004 MCS. I mistakenly heeded advice to purchase the Bentley Service Manual to assist with this project. I found that it was missing lots of information quite awhile ago. I was hoping to find diagrams for all the coolant and heater hoses as well as a routing diagram for the ECU harness. Unfortunately my searches have been fruitless. If anyone has this information I'm desperate for it and would appreciate it more than words can convey! Please for the love of God help me!

Plug in the last 7 digits of your vin where it says "serial number" on real OEM here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select. You can see some diagrams for coolant/heater hoses. Might be a bit more helpful for you for your process.

Also, if you need pictures/visuals for some coolant items you can also check out our water cooling tech articles here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...tech_index.htm.

Hope some of this helps you. I'd also suggest posting in the 1st gen MINI section for a better response from other NAM members: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ion-minis-183/.

Hi MonzMini:

Here are some drawings that may be helpful for the hoses:

Is there a digital edition of the Bentley manual? Seems as if it would be a good thing.

I posted a similar request about the need for a good service manual regarding roadster specific items like the convertible top and active spoiler. The moderator axed my post. Apparently it is verboten to discuss any of the "other" manuals out there. I think this site is run by dealerships.

Well for engine rebuild info the Bentley is sub par. But it seemed to go farthest into depth with trim and panels. So... could help. No promises though.
