Hi and welcome to nam.
The superchargers seem to last over 100K miles, befor ethey need repair or replacing. I have seen a couple with almost 200K on the original car. I guess it all comes down to the lube oil leaking out of a bad seal.
If you want the car for the fun, get the supercharged ones. Mini S all the way!

+1 about 100K+, seems like at 100K people service them. I have seen them last way past 100K.
