How long do the supercharger last before rebuilding or replacing? also how can you tell if the supercharger is going bad or has already gone bad?

Hi and welcome to nam.
The superchargers seem to last over 100K miles, befor ethey need repair or replacing. I have seen a couple with almost 200K on the original car. I guess it all comes down to the lube oil leaking out of a bad seal.
If you want the car for the fun, get the supercharged ones. Mini S all the way!

 

+1 about 100K+, seems like at 100K people service them. I have seen them last way past 100K.

The internet makes it out to be worse than it is as I have plenty of high mileage customers one even at 270k on the original never serviced supercharger. So don't be afraid, but it won't hurt to change out the oil if you have the time.
