2009 jcw

Long time creeper. I've owned my mini since June 2016 and it's been the most fun care I've driven! Unfortunately been the most expensive too, bought as a former lease and the previous owner beat it down. So far I've replaced the clutch, timing chain assembly and time reset, tensioner arm, pulley and belt and the latest and greatest the turbo got cooked.
Good news is it's now my project and have just received my turbo labs of America 50mm hybrid turbo kit and new chra and I'm ready for some real fun.
So far I have a upgraded flat panel intake and catless DP mated to the JCW exhaust. I will be going 2.5" from the cat back and intercooler in the next 3-4 weeks and will be in need of tuning, until then this is what I got!

It got the name pheonix because my girl at the time said it would redirect like a Phoenix after all the work that's gone in it, so maybe it'll spit flames.. we'll see.

Thanks for all the love guys!
Just got the car back together and running today after the auxiliary coolant pump broke, but I have to say I'm pretty happy 😁 DP, Filter & Turbo kit have added about 40hp without a tune according to my DashCmd! It has some low end loss but I'm curious to see how it does on the freeway after the ECU learns it better.

2009-2011 JCWs didn't come standard with the aero kit, strangely. Glad to hear you got it up and running!

Well now I have to save for one lol
But after getting inconsistent boosting I checked under the hood and found my BOV plate amost off, bolted up and getting freakish power. Borderline scary...

Wow you gained like 30hp/50tq from that! I'm worried if I start tuning I won't be able to stop
