Just got a 17 JCW hardtop

Hey guys. Just sealed the deal on a preowned 2017 JCW hardtop. White Silver. 12k miles. looks like all the options except parking assist and dynamic suspension. But a very well equipped car otherwise. I am from the Boston, MA area. I always wanted a Mini, just never bought one. Now these 3rd gens, although larger in size. The tech/media in them really sucked me in. I love all the cool little lights, the nav, the idrive, the HUD, the gauges. I guess my only gripe is, I wish it was just one gauge in the cluster, a big tach, and have the speed as a digital readout in the middle. Would look much cleaner.

Anyways. I haven't picked the car up yet. So i'll attach some dealer photos. It has the black trim on the headlights and tails. So one of my first mods is going to be the black grille trim and black door handles and fuel door to complete it.

I wanted a manual originally, But the hunt was getting frustrating. Every time i found a manual with all the options I wanted. It was sold before I could get there. Even the Automatics would sell quick.

Looking forward to picking it up. I also want to get the JCW pro exhaust.

I looked up the original order sheet. And all the JCW accessories were added from the factory. like the carbon mirror caps and carbon hood scoop. LED door sills, lock buttons. Its pretty much exactly how I would have spec'd it if i bought new.

As far as other vehicles. I also own a 2014 Chevy SS sedan (Holden Commodore) and a 2018 Harley Fat Bob 114.

Welcome to the forum and MINI ownership. The red and white look great together. Don't stress too much about what you don't have except to the extent that you want to make it more unique for you.

Have you thought about red mirrors?

thanks!

Here's a pic yesterday when I picked it up.

I did the 'track my mini' thing to see what it was ordered with. the list is:
alarm system
garage door opener
chrome line interior
rear fogs
active driving assistant
LED headlamps w cornering
mini heads up display
sirius XM
sport auto
color line glowing red interior
fiber alloy dash trim
17" black JCW track wheels
JCW stripes
chili red rood and mirror caps
premium package
tech package w/navi
cold weather package
carbon fiber mirror caps
mini license plate frame black
black line headlight rings
black line tail light kit
jcw pro design side scuttles
jcw pro led door sills
mini sport shorty antenna
mini floor liners
click and drive phone holder
jcw door lock cap
carbon fiber air intake scoop
blk gry checkered flag sunroof
mini first aid kit

quick question, do you guys think the JCW illuminated door sills are covered under bumper to bumper warranty? since it was ordered with the car from the factory? they dont light up anymore.

Also. I ordered a few more things to get it where i want for now.
JCW pro flapper exhaust
carbon tips
black grille surround
jcw pro sunshades
jcw pro rubber mats
carbon fiber gas cap and door handle overlays
smoked led front and rear side markers.

Congrats that looks great

Also since you're looking for an exhaust check out the Remus as it is more cost effective and much lighter than the JCW. Plus it has more modes for the flap.
