Picked up a fixer-upper 06 Cooper S to be used as a daily driver. Runs good, just has some of the normal wear items that are seen on these cars with over 100K that need to be addressed. Came with Millitek exhaust, DDM intake, WMW 15% pulley, OZ wheels, and a full Alpine sound system in place of the Harmon Kardon setup the car came with. Still working on repairing the list of items that I came up with, but the times that I have driven it so far have been a lot of fun.
Thanks!

Interesting addition to your American stable - a lot of HP overkill there! If it hasn't already been done, I would jump on replacing the supercharger oil. The tear down to get to it will give you a great overall look at your engine and how it operates. The crankshaft sensor o-ring is easily accessible at that time and should be replaced. You might want to replace the water pump since you'll be removing it also. I think you may find that the MINI could be your favorite to drive.

Lol, thanks. Funny thing is that my daily drivers are normally Asian, this is the first German I have had (mostly been Infiniti and Subaru).
SC oil, water pump, t stat, and coolant flush are all on the list once the necessary items are done. I found some cracks in the core support and fender liners that I have to repair when it’s apart from bottoming out the nose at some point in it’s life. Currently working on pinch weld rust/water in interior from running down the inside of the door strip up at the a pillar corner and going up and over the pinch weld down in to the floor pan (watched it flow that way while pouring water on the top). Explains why so many of these cars have rust on the pinch welds. Minor design flaw.

Nice - looks like it's in decent shape. Color combo is great with nice rims. Your current mods probably place it around 200hp which, honestly, is plenty in a car this light in weight to have a bit of fun. Additional HP gains from this point can get expensive (head, injectors, etc.) - all depends on your pain level!
