New Owner. R52. 37k miles

hello all

im the excited new owner of a near mint R52S cabrio, 2006. This was a 1 owner Texas car. I have always loved all Minis and I am particularly excited to own one of the original body ones. I like all generations but the first one is something special, with its size and proportions.

I look forward to reading this bank of knowledge and hopefully avoid mistakes to keep this car in proper working order. I am based in a Houston.

Thanks

You got the exact right perfect one and it even comes with a wind deflector, a huge bonus.
Topless motoring IS motoring at it's best.

Welcome to the forum and the MINI experience. While I am somewhat biased, in my opinion you bought the best MINI to enjoy all they have to offer. Congratulations.

Great pic, R52 owner here also. Just replaced the A/C compressor, starter, and battery on mine. Ready for another 200K+

dealership visit

Thanks all. I just visited the dealership where they did a once over and told me all the services this car has had. I am still in shock of how well this car was cared for. I am now afraid of scratching it haha.

Don't be afraid of scratching it. Be afraid of others scratching it. Now is the time to practice the fine art of defensive parking. I got one small door ding 12 years ago and none since.
