Newish MINI owner, very new to forums!
I got my HB 06 MCS baby in April, but am just finding my way into the wonderful MINI communities out there.
I thought I would have to order one after visiting our nearest dealer, so I figured I would have about 8 weeks to learn how to drive a manual on my husband's TT. The dealership found "my" MINI already made, in the States, and had it on the lot within a week. So after 1 drive in the TT, I was learning in the MINI.
It took one good lesson with my husband in the MINI. His 2000 TT was perfect for a beginner, but the MINI was more fidgety. I had to wait a week to drive myself to work. But once he gave me a lesson, I've driven my MINI every day. And it puts a smile on my face.
I grinned so much on the MTTS Indy to Charleston leg that my face hurt!

Slightly Modded HB MCS
Hi all
I'm from the UK and have to admit that I have been guesting it for the past 6 months... Just finished off a few basic mods so I thought I'd join up and see what everyone thinks...
The car is a facelift model with visibility pack (winter pack) Auto Climate... MFSW which is excellent... Changed my S-Spokes for 5 Star Bullets. I've also had an Aerokit fitted, changed my tailgate release and bonnet scoop for Black II versions.
Let me know what you think...

New Member 02 S
This looks like a great place for information on the New Minis. I have recently purchased an 02 Cooper S with quite a few modifications, and am really enjoying the car. Oddly enough it looks very much like the GP that was in Winding Roads this month.
But, I am having all kinds of electrical problems at the moment that is making it difficult to have as much fun as I should have.
So maybe I can get some help "under the bonnet".
