"Interesting" cars...
102K? I got the hand-me-down Suburban that's up to 215K. (most of the time I'm on a bike though).
Main reason I'm here is I'm itching for a new car. I hadn't really been caring much about new cars-nothing really grabs me. My brother has an MC40 and loves it. Minis are one of the few "interesting" cars to me.
This site has a bunch of really useful info! Helps tremendously!

Anyway, since I've always liked cars with "personality", the MINI have always attracted me--most of the other cars I've seen out there doesn't seem to be interesting or have a personality, and when they do, they usually cost too much.

Not sure what I'll name the car, if I buy a MCS.....

The Path to MINI Nation
Hello All!
It started with an accident shortly after Thanksgiving '06. My humble and loyal '96 Nissan Sentra lost a head-on collision with a Jeep Cherokee. Thankfully, I was able to walk away from it. I was already considering getting a MINI around this time of year, but since the Sentra was a total loss, I had to (forgive the pun) accelerate the process.
So as of mid-December, I am a proud owner of a 06 MCS Chili Red / White Rooftop & White Bonnet Stripping.
Also have the premium and weather packages, 17" Wheels, Anthracite Headliner, Xenon Lights & Front Fogs, Roof Rack System, and H/K Stereo Upgrade.
Aftermarket: XPEL 3M Clear Film Protection Kit (front & rear) and Pioneer AVIC-N3 In-Dash DVD Nav. Sys. with IPOD Adapter.
Wish List aka Soon-to-Be: Personally Designed Metal Grille Badges, ALTA or Palo Uber Light Bar System, and a lady copilot that loves me for me and not the MINI!!!!
Thanks for reading. See you on the road!!!

New to NAM
I started out in the San Francisco Bay Area in motorsports back in 1959. I bought a 1959 MGA Twincam coupe. Red with solid knockoffs. I attended SCCA RDC (Race Driving Course) and began club racing. I ran a Bugeyed Sprite with Huffacker modifications and did pretty well. After that it was club events with both the MGA and Sprite. In 1963 I moved to Honolulu and bought and raced an MG 1100 (which was a Mini on steroids). Since then a 427 Corvette, 1969 Mini cooper (Belgian Congo) and for the last 10 years a 1996 SVT Cobra. I am the proud owner of a 2004 Indi Blue Cooper S and love it. I have joined Atlanta MINIs and look forward to the events.

Driving on Autosmile!
Hello all, for a month and 3000 miles I've been the smiling owner of a 2006 pepperwhite mini convertible. The weather here in N. Calif. has been springlike for most of Feb. so the tops been down and my balding head getting a tan. This the most fun I've ever had on four wheels!

Just introducing myself here, as requested.
Current MINI is an '06 MC CVT PW/B while my first love was an '04 MC CVT Indi Blue/White with a few more extras than my current MINI.
Many of my MINI pals refer to NAM, so I figured it's about time I stopped in. Thanks for all the good work you do!

New!
Hi there! I'm pretty new here also, waiting (not so patiently) on my 07 MC convertible, chili red black top that had currently completed production and is waiting for transport to the carrier. The next few weeks should be rough, because I certainly can't wait to see her here in NJ. Just wanted to introduce myself!
