Hello Everyone,
I am new to NAM and wanted to introduce myself. I live in the New Orleans area and am a long time sports car enthusiast. My wife and I just ordered a 07 chili red and white S to go along with our 04 Mazda RX8. We can't wait for the car to arrive and hope to gain some insight into the Mini World!!!

Hi! I'm new here
I will be a first time MINI owner this week. Hopefully today, if not tomorrow or Thursday, depending on the weather. I will be purchasing a 2006 cooper in grey or white (depending on the dealership that gives me a better deal). Both of them have manual transmissions but I learned on an automatic. I have been practicing for about a month.
Any helpful tips on driving stick-shift???

Hello NAM! I recently purchased my first MCS LY with white roof and black hood stripes. Looks like a mad bee to me! It's been a BLAST to drive! I was hoping to make it to the MOTD as I live in Raleigh, NC but alas I will have to wait until next year as I will be in Vegas when the event happens. Oh well! It's been nice reading all the posts and learning about this great car! All the best!

Back again to Mini Motori.... I mean NAM. Its been awhile but I just ordered the newest addition to the family an '07 Chili S and I've given up my '03 Electric Blue S for adoption. Yes, I sold my baby for an offer I couldn't refuse. These MINIs really don't depreciate. Even after 53,000 miles. I lost a total of $1,000 per year of ownership. Yowza .

Hey ya'll.
New member and owner but long time lurker here. Finally pulled the trigger on a new '06 MCS (HB/HB) two weeks ago. In the short amount of time I've owned it I'm surprised that people still give it a look at stoplights since the car's been out for quite some time. I guess that's a testament to its sharp design (thank you Mr.Stephenson). It was a hoot getting a wave from another owner as well. How do you guys deal with the break-in period? I'm tempted to go fast even before I start the car!

no dear, I'm not having an affair...exactly.
Eighty one days, 8100 miles and I still love my mini convertible! It's after five o'clock and seventy three degrees outside, time to put the top down and clock another 50 miles. Life is sooooo good! Maybe I can find a new road to make my commute just a little longer.

Hey Whats up from the newbie
Hey everyone I just started here and thought I would just say whatsup. I live in Chicago, Il and just recenly bought an 06 peper white mini coop. I love this car and hope that I could get some pointers and stuff from all the veteran mini owners out there. I'm going to be on here like everyday from now on just because I love that car. Only the best for the new member of the family.

Hello, My name is Will. Some of you may know me from MetroplexMini. I am a Modaholic. I am an enabler of everything mod. and Silverbullit is right, there is no cure for MiniModaMania other than divorce and or bankruptcy, niether of which can truly undermine the sickness. So please mod wisely in moderation, I dont want to see anyone in the doghouse or out on the curb on my behalf.
Happy motoring.
