Welcome to NAM

Hi everyone,
I am glad I joined NAM. I am a member of SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MINI MANIACS. We do lot's of fun group activities together. I actually came upon this site when I was searching for Minis in the mountain. It appears that the event is already sold out. Can I still participate on my own?

Hello to All,
Bought a used 2003 MCS a week ago Friday I was looking for a second car that would be fun and easy on gas when inspiration struck. Get a Mini. We don't have any dealers here in Maine so I went shopping the used car lots. Didn't take that long to find one and it is just too much fun to drive. Can't wait to try it out on the white stuff. Had a little taste last week but it was melted before I could really give it a good test.

Newbie to Site and the Wonderful World of MINIs!
I have been a long time admirer of the MINIs, but didn't think I would ever get to own one with a husband measuring in at just over 6'8"! To my surprise and excitement - he fit just fine (at least in the front seats!). So my dream to own a MINI was fufilled on 11/12/07 with BumbleBee (the kids named it after BumbleBee in The Transfomers!). I love my MINI! It's by far the most fun to drive of any car I've ever owned. I can't imagine ever NOT owning one now!
I was happy to have stumbled upon this site so I can learn more about MINIs and the great fellowship MINI owners seem to have. Within the first week of owning it, I was sitting in traffic when another MINI passed me heading down an off ramp and beeped/waved. Nissan owners didn't do that when I was driving my Nissan! What a great comraderie!!!
Happy to be amongst fellow MINI owners!

Hi!
My name's Mel, I live in SW Montana, and I got my Nigel in August in Denver. I've put 4100 miles on the odometer so far.
He's a laser blue 2007 Cooper S with bells & whistles.
I've wanted a MINI since I saw the Italian Job a few years ago. When I graduated from college and realized I needed a reliable vehicle (other than my scooter) and I'd always wanted a MINI...well, I talked my husband into getting my dream car with me.
Anyway, I'm always looking for tips & tricks, so I thought I'd join this board as well as the OL.

Hi Aris!
If you look in the menu on this page (towards the top on the left side), you'll see User CP. Click on that and then on the next screen, click on Edit Signature. You can add your signature, pictures, etc. there.
Hope that helps!

Glad to see you got something going in your new siggie! I see you need to tweak it a bit, but it takes a little experimentation to get it just right! Good start! You can use the Test Forum as you work on your sig and/or practice posting pix.
Edit: I see you edited -- good job, Aris!

I'm a long time reader and just recently joined this awesome community. This is my 13th car (don't worry, 13 is my lucky number) and I have to say that I can't see myself ever selling it. I absolutely LOVE this car...and all MINIs, for that matter. I am a full "blown" addict (pun fully intended) to the thrill that this car gives me. I tell people that it's as close to a motorcycle with doors as you can get. Honestly, I haven't ridden my motorcycle much recently for that very reason...I think my MINI, a.k.a. "Ludwig" is more fun...and QUICKER!!!

It's miniAL's first
Hi,
I'm MiniAL and together with my wife we just ordered an '08 CS. I decided after all these years of driving it was time to get something different and after test-driving the S 3 times I knew I was hooked. So no more plain vanilla cars; now MiniAL can't wait, nor can my wife.
