I'm still figuring out this posting/replying system. How do I respond to a message from someone directly? I posted a reply but it doesn't look like it's to I wanted it to go to. Advice?? Thanks!

Greetings my name is Ryan, I live in the good old Rocky Mountains. Currently I am the owner of a Satin Silver Metallic 2002 Civic Si.

I have been fond of the Mini since the new generation was released in the early 2000’s, Not quite sure about the exact year. Anyways, my attraction to the Cooper lay dormant for several years until I started hanging out with some people here at work one of which has a 05 MCS, it dumped gas on the dormant coals of my interest for this interesting vehicle.

I am toying with the idea of getting a MC but haven’t test driven the MCS, so I will wait. Cant move forward until I get out of school and get a nice job anyway

Let’s Motor!

Hello all!

I’ve been lurking for a few months now, but I thought I’d register since I bought a new MC last weekend! In a last ditch effort to avoid ordering and waiting the 8 weeks, DH and I went up to the dealership on Saturday to see what they had. Low and behold, they had the exact configuration I wanted, in my second-choice color, with no markup. They said it was just off the truck, not even listed on their webpage yet – only 5 miles on it, and still had the plastic on the seats!

My new baby: 2008 MCa, MFSW, Bluetooth (already synced with my iphone), sunroof. Pure Silver, black roof and bonnet stripes.

Hey everybody. As you can tell from my join date I've been a member since May 2007, but I just lurked for a long time.

My name is Will, my last name is Wing, I've heard all the jokes so don't even try, haha! The skinny: UT student, journalism major, rugby player, youth ministry intern, wanna be a pastor, play guitar, DRIVE A MINI!

2005 pepper white, black roof, black stripes, cooper S. All stock for now

For those of you familiar with the dragon, I've logged more than 200 trips there over the past 3 years as either the driver, passenger, or on my bike!

This will be the best part of your life! 'Cause MINI's come and MINI's go.
The rest will come.
Where ther's a will, there's a way. (Or is that Wing?)

May GOD sincerely bless you in your life serving Him!

I have been a Mini lover since the 60s and an owner since 1977. In 2006 I got my MINI. The information now available is amazing. Thanks.

Greetings all! I have had my classic Mini since 2003, and just recently added a 2007 MCS convertible, Sidewalk edition, with only 9600 miles on it.

Hello all,
I'm waiting for my Justacooper to arrive, thought I'd pop in and say hi.
I'm coming from a 2003 VW Passat which I'm trying to sell.

Great forum. Looking forward to actively participating.

Tony

Hello -

Im Jo; currently residing in the U.K. I plan on purchasing a UK spec Mini and bringing it back to the US, that is if the Air Force decides to move me back home. I hope to go to Germany but we'll see.

Having spent 10 years in Europe and shipped cars back to the U.S. I doubt you'll be able to ship a UK spec Mini back. Of course things may have changed in the last 20 years. I recall a coworker who shipped a German spec BMW back and to have it meet U.S. safety and emission specs it was going to cost him in the neighborhood of $15,000.00. This was in the mid 80's. If I were you I'd research all aspects before plunking down your money.

Cost me about 5k in 1980 dollars to make it US worthy. With our dollar sucking wind It could be less expensive to buy a US model over there and ship it back. I know VOLVO has a promo package "go abroad and buy a car while you vacation and we'll ship it back for you".
Little research could net you some bucks well spent.
