FlyingW Checking In
Greetings from Oklahoma,
I'm Jim and earlier this year I became a happy Mini Owner. Back in 2016, my wife said she was ready for a new car. I was hell bent on her getting a Ford Edge but she had other plans. When she said she wanted to go to the Mini dealer, I said "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND". I always considered the Mini's to be Novelty cars much like the PT Cruiser and the VW bug but what my wife wants, she gets so she drove off in a 2016 Countryman S. After driving it I started to think she was on to something. My entire adult life I've driven pickups but my wife's car was fun to drive. In April this year I was browsing through FB Marketplace and I ran across a 2016 Countryman Parklane and it really caught my eye. It only had 19,000 miles on it and after talking to my wife, we headed down to Dallas to get it and its been love ever since. The Mini is an absolute blast to drive. Its part SUV, part sedan, and a big part racecar. It's my daily driver and my poor truck just sits now. Anyway, I have a few questions but I'll post them in the appropriate forums.

Nice Parklane edition countryman, that was the R60 that Tony Hawk helped design the options with.
