Hello from Europe

Hi,

my name is Philip. I own a MCS since August 2004 and am an enthusiastic motorer. Find some pics of my car on my website.

I live in Frankfurt Germany, but spend a couple of months in New York some year ago.

I work for a marketing company and have a team here in Frankfurt and in London. We help a German car brand (owned by GM) to sell more cars.

The reason for signing up to NAM is to find and exchange information about a holiday trip to California in late April 2005.

Happy motoring
Philip

Ah, Frankfurt, the literary city. Thanks for providing a link to your informative photos. Could not help noticing the beautiful paving in the petrol station. Looks very high quality. I hope facilities in California will not disappoint you.

Happy motoring.

Philip,

Wilkommen! Good to have the German MINI drivers here on NAM. I used to live in Frankfurt years ago - Praunheim, actually, by the krankenhaus. When I lived there, I drove a 320i all over the southern half of the country; I can only imagine how much fun the MINI would be over there! I hope the Opel people don't mind you driving a MINI!

Again, welcome to NAM. Viele Grüße aus Colorado!

Bill

Hey Philip!

I am also new to NAM. I'm an American living down the road from you in Kaiserslautern. I was wondering if you know of any MINI clubs here in Germany?

Hey Philip!!! Welcome...so, I was noticing the rear fog lamp on your MINI...do the ones overseas come with the red lens? I was noticing only clear colored lenses here in the states...perhaps that's a European regulation, sort of like amber colored turn signals in the rear being a requirement there as well? Either way, very cool looking Blue/White MINI, and I'm very jealous as I have yet to pick mine up...again, welcome.

Dave.

Living in Frankfurt, working marketing and driving a MINI... love it all.

Great pics. I chuckled at the one that said "I love you (both)"

Where in FfM are you? I used to live up north, in Praunheim - fantastic city, Frankfurt. . .

So what part of CA are you visiting??

Hi Philip,

Nice car and great photos. I live in SF Bay Area and would be happy to give vacation suggestions if you are headed this way.

We should set up a MINI vacation exchange program. Here is my draft ad:

"3 br/3 ba house, 1 hour to Disney and 1 hour to beach and 6 blocks to Tampa Bay, dozens of restaurants and bars. Comes with cable TV, central air,and '03 JB MCS with Nav (perfect for out of towners).

Looking to swap for NY or European home with at least 2 bedrooms and one MC or MCS."
