Future Mini Owner????

Hi Everyone,
I have just joined NAM earlier this week, found it by fluke on Google, and I cant stop reading the Posts.
To be honest, i have not noticed the Mini until this weekend...When i say noticed, what i really mean is i did not consider it as a car i would buy.
Previously i was Looking into buying a Jeep or even maybe an Audi, but all of a sudden, within a week im in Love with the MiniS.
Reading these Threads does not help either. Great Info and Stories shared.
Well, Ive already set the date and time this weekend for my first Test drive, so im going to see how that goes.
I just finished School about 6 Months ago, so I probably would not be ready to buy one until August or So due to Financial issues, but im damn excited already.
Im Sure the Test Drive will be amazing...Your Posts tell me that!
I will for sure keep Everyone Posted on how my first time goes!
Any info or Suggestions on Anything would be great!
Thanks!

i think this site needs to come with some kind of warning label about addictions to MINI's. be careful on that first test drive, when i went out i knew nothing about the car, but after that first test drive i was set, you will become a fanatic

Welcome to NAM!!! Yup, MINIs are awesome! A few years back I was planning on procuring a classic Mini when a friend of mine mentioned, "...yeah I saw one at a dealer on x highway!" I thought, "huh?" and went to look...it was my first time to see a new MINI up close. I was smitten!!! Safe, practical, reasonable, well-appointed, and.....well, it's a MINI!!! How cool is that!!!

Anyway, congrats on finishing school....let us know how that test drive goes.

Sunny and 24 degrees, which is about 75 or 77 F i think.
Thats damn good weather for May in Toronto..Thats for sure..
Considering it was Snowing and Hailing yesterday with a temp of 0 celcius.
Im going to be hooked for sure now!

It was Crazy..THe weather was great...we went to an open road around my area, and just opened it up...
It was amazing...Now the only problem is Saving enough money for a nice Down payment...The Finances per month are killers...
Hopefully soon i will join the Club and be called a Mini Owner!
I couldnt believe how well it drove..and How much fun it was!
Third Gear was Crazy!!!!!

See......we told you that test drive gets you every time....

We bought our first MCS back in 02' without ever having seen the new MINI in person. We bought our 2nd one, an MCSC without ever having seen it in person either. Now we have #3 sitting at the dealer getting prepped for delivery on Thursday....

You already know it's the car for you.....stick around here for lots of great play time, info. and people....it will make your wait a bit more exciting..

Donna
02' CR/W MCS (gone to MINI heaven - burned up)
05' Cool Blue MCSC "Ariel"
05' HB/W MCS delivery on Thursday - Yippee!!

The test drive reeled me in, too. I got to drive a demo MCS that had been modified with all the standard stuff to get it to 210 hp. The performance was amazing, but to be honest, the sound of the supercharger alone was probably enough to convince me.

And to DJTyrone - assuming you speak French - MALPT!
