Upgrade Fever

Ok, finally got my Mini. '05 MCS, white top, hyper blue body. Have about 1600 miles on it. Love the car (more than the Boxter I dumped in getting the Mini). However, I have been bitten with the JCW upgrade bug. Want to keep the factory warranty as this is my daily driver. Would really appreciate some feedback from folks who have the upgrade on what they think about it and whether it was a good value (value being a relative thing).

Thanks, Adam

I have not driven an MCS without it, so I can't say. Just new I'd keep second-guessing myself if I didn't get it. MCS owners who don't have the mod seem to enjoy it immensely on test drives, though.

cheers,
matthew z.

My 05 MCS is my first MINI and I took delivery with the JCW Tunning Kit installed, so I don't have a basis for comparison other than the test drive I took 3 moths ago. I am very happy with my JCW upgrade so far and if you have the means than I highly recommend it.
