Ok Folks, Name advice please
I have been tossing about name possiblities for about 10 months (yep, I live in Oregon where the wait is THAT long).
I can only use six letters I THINK (in Oregon) for the plate. Some have said 7 is OK, but I've not seen one seven letter personalized plate yet.
I want a name that encompasses me and the mini. My favorite color is purple, so I ordered Purple Haze with black bonnet stripes. I am one of the few female autocrossers and will join my friend from Eugene who drives a BRG Cooper. I like to go fast and have fun, am a teacher and a Mom. So, here's my ideas.. (p.s., I loved the Movie "Italian Job", which will explain one choice)
FLY GRP (FLYN GRP) if they allow seven letters
STELLA
RACEY
JULES S
If you can think of any other fun ideas, I may need a list as there's a possiblity of one being used already when I go to register.
THANKS in advance..... gotta keep busy waiting ya know.

From the Oregon DMV website (http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/vehic...tecustom.shtml):

We're trying to come up with names/plates for our impending Cool Blue MCSCa - it's fun, isn't it???
Good luck!!
Constructing Your Message
- You can have from one to six characters on a custom plate.
- In addition to the six characters, you are allowed one extra space or hyphen (indicate in the application where the hyphen or space should go).
- You can fill each character block with a letter, number, or hyphen, or you may leave some blank.
- With the exception of the hyphen, NO special characters or punctuation marks are allowed, such as # . ’ ! $ & " ?
- You may not use three numbers followed by three letters or three letters followed by three numbers.
- Be sure to write clearly, distinguishing Z’s from 2’s, S’s from 5’s, I’s from 1’s.
- Be sure to show where you want any spacing, especially if you do not want lettering to cover the tree portion of your plate. Otherwise, all characters will be centered on the plate.

COOL!!! That tool is awesome. I bet others might find it handy to plug-n-play with names for their mini's.
Love it!!
I played with the Acme licence maker and got three I love with the actual Oregon Trail plates, but don't have a way to convert them to URL's so I can attach them. I'm a noob on this kind of stuff.

It's easy to post them here.
1) Make the plate.
2) When the plate appears, click on it.
3) Click on "FILE" at the top of the page and then "SAVE AS". Save the pic to your desktop or someplace else , your choice.
4) Come back here & click "POST REPLY".
5) Under the window that you type in is a button called "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS". Click it & a window will pop up & allow you to upload the pics from your desktop (or wherever you put them) and put them into your message.
6) There is no #6.

ack!!! Went to follow the directions to show you the custom plate ideas... and turn on laptop to find... it DEAD! fried, kaput, kabloomy!
hmmm, thank god the kids went to bed and I could hi-jack their desktop.
I'll post my final choice soon (may not be until new laptop comes home from the store).
I appreciate everyone's ideas and friendliness. Rough day... dryer dies in the a.m., computer died in the p.m. and I'm checking the cats and dogs for any issues... (who knows!).
