mini s order now the wait continues

i order my mini s about six weeks ago, the wait has been long. you see i been driving s/w and vans the last twenty-five yrs.i am looking forward to getting behind the wheel of a good handeling machine. i test drove a mini s a little over a yr. ago. i was sold on the car then, and i knew it was just a matter of time, before becoming a mini owner. jet blk. sport package 17in. run flat, xenon lamp, space gray, on-board computer,h/ksounds

That's all?

Lucky you! In Oregon the wait for a MCS is about 10 months. I've heard that in Washington they've stopped taking orders, their quota for the year is already spoken for.

Many people here are going out of state to get their new mc's and motoring them back.

I went outta state. MINI of Murray in SLC, UT. Took only 3 months from deposit to delivery. Had I gone with East Bay MINI, I still would be waiting . . . just to put in my order! Delivery wouldn't be till after Thanksgiving!

As it is now, I've been motoring two months! Yup, I'd do the outta state thing again in a heartbeat!

yes it is a long time at east bay mini ( cant wait to get mini, i am driving everyone crazy talking about it ..hehe) ... I ordered one on the 30th of may and will not get it until the end of october. But it is worth the wait and east bay mini only charges MSRP.. everyone else seems to charge more. And gives me time to save some money for for the down payment

Plus they are really nice there!
