Plain Jane was delivered to Crown Mini today! Pictures

I knew that the delivery was approaching and Plain Jane was expected on Wed/Thur. So I decided that it was worth the 20 minute drive by the dealer to take a look. Much to my surprise there she was. At Crown Mini in Richmond, I was in the lot acting like a proud father. Looking at what had been created back on May 17th.

She was two hours off the truck and had been delivered with her friend - a purple haze cooper. I had concerns from the beginning. Is a purple haze cooper the kind of friend she should have? Does that bad girl like: hard acid rock, living on the edge and pushing the limits? She was quite the looker if I must go to that level, which I must.
Did she spoil the innocence of my little girl? Do I have time to save her?
Did Jane feel like she didn't belong?

Plain Jane, little frills, small wheels, no sun roof, not even a spoiler. Black on Black on Black. How will she ever get by in the cruel world?

I hope that by Tuesday she will be ready to go to our home. She will be loved!

What Plain Jane will come to learn is that she has hit the auto jackpot. She will be garage kept, pampered and played with on a regular basis. She will learn to kick the _ _ _ _ out of purple haze mini's (non S's) that strut their stuff.

I will keep you posted.

HC:

You need to remind Jane that beauty is more than skin deep...

and in the eye of the beholder...

and etc. etc. etc.

In other words,

Everything is beautiful in its own way
Like a starry summer night or a snow covered winters day
Everybodys beautiful in their own way
Under Gods heaven, the worlds gonna find a way

Of course it won't help if you persist in calling her "Plane Jane." That's akin to MINI abuse, almost sure to give your poor MINI an inferiority complex. And THAT will have her running with a bad crowd in no time!

It is a good way to keep from getting run over or maybe a way to throw off someone riding your ***. I wonder what it looks like when it is on at night?

How bright is the light? Didn't people change the back up light to a fog light on the earlier mini?

It's pretty bright. Bright enough to be annoying if you are behind the car, which I think is a good thing as long as you use it properly, as in when its actually foggy out, or as a "back at cha" when someone bright lights you for no reason. I like it!
