If I recall reading correctly, there is a phone number that you can call for MINIUSA that will allow you to track the production of you MINI. My understanding is that this phone number provide more up-to-date and accurate information than the Owners Lounge on the MINIUSA website. Does anyone have this number?

Have your VIN or prod. number handy. But the most accurate update can come from your MA. Try not to pester them too much though.

The thing that bugs me is that you don't get an email when the status of your vehicle changes. I have to check the bloody thing every hour of the day!

I also lied to my MA . I promised her I would not check my status more than once a day, and she replied: "Did you cross your fingers when you typed that?" Sadly I did not. Working in front of an internet connected computer, it is very difficult NOT to check.

Luckily you can copy the URL that points to your car, and make a bookmark to it instead of logging in each time. I gave two friends a link, so that I didn't feel the need to tell them the progress each day:
