Confused on OEM Wheel Configs.

Confused on OEM Wheel Configs.
On the configurator I"ve got the R99 wheels as a dealer add on. But it's still showing the stock 16s.
So my question is: do I get both? Will the dealer by back the 16s?
Related: If I go with the sport package instead of ala carting what I want, will I get more credit for the S-Lights that come with them? (Still shows S-Lights with All Season performance.) Just mount the tires on the R99s?
Just trying to get a sense on how others have worked these options with various dealers.
I'll be auto-xing in G-Stock so I'll be looking for a set of 16"s either way, but won't want any of the OEM tires. To be honest, I think I'd rather go aftermarket and get some lighter 16s than what MINI sells.
(This seemed to be a noobish question/ordering question rather than a tire/wheel, but if it's on the wrong board I apologize.)

Since the wheels are a dealer add on you are in fact paying full price for both sets and should get both sets of wheels. What that means is that your Mini is being shipped complete with wheels/tires from the factory and the dealer parts dept has in stock or is buying and reselling you wheels separately. With the base purchase price of your car you are already paying for the wheels and tires on it so they are yours. {The only exception to the above scenario is the Web spoke option which, for $500 more, replaces the S-Lites when you order the sport package.}
Unless you have arranged for some kind of trade in value for the stock wheels that come on your car the dealer will not give you credit for them and you should definately be sure to take them. Also, if your R99s are a diff. size thent the stocks they will charge you for tires as well as mounting/balancing; if they are the same size as your stock wheels they will probably resuse those tires and charge you for the mount/balance (of course you'd need to talk to them about this beforehand to see what they had in mind).
In my opinion your best best is to take the stock wheels, order your OEM wheels from Classic or somewhere else which has a good discount and do that part after taking delivery of your car. You'll end up saving money on the cost of everything - wheels, tires, labor - and then you can resell the stockers as you wish. If that is too much of a hassle for you bring your best price on wheels, tires, etc to your dealer and ask them to match it. Since they are selling you the car they will more receptive to doing that then at any other time. Be sure they know that you are aware that the stock setup is yours unless a "trade-in" value is agreed on. Lastly I'd be sure to get it all in writing and added to the contract so that you have something to fall back on in case you forget something in the excitement the day you take delivery of the car.

PS: Regarding the value of the stock wheels: its a bit of a hard call to advise you on this as the resale of the stock 16s vs the S-lites could vary from what it is now. I can't tell you if the difference in any profit made there is worth the added cost of the package itself - although the web spokes are another story and could be worth the cost difference when it comes time to sell them. If you don't want everything in the sport package though, my POV is not to get it unless you are really neutral about it and are up to dealing with the sale of the wheels to make it payoff for you.
When you consider the value difference, however, there is something to be said for getting 17" tires that you can use on the R99s if you are going that size since the added cost of tires at that point might be key.
