You know you'll have to share pics, whether in the gallery or straight here. But you'll find a more receptive audience in the Mini Classic section.
Happy motoring and congrats on your "new to you" toy

Hi Giuseppe:

I'm not a purist so in my opinion you should be able to modernize your Mini any way you want. However if you have 2 cars you might want to restore your Mini to its original condition and use it for fun days.

When I had a Mini I wondered why anyone would need a fancier car. Now I wonder how I ever managed to even get into and out of the tiny critter. But even then the Mini was not up to snuff in inclement weather (on example: when I hit a big puddle on the highway a wall of water would rush up in front of the car and obscure my view). Even then there were loads of after market products for the Mini (except tires) and so mine had straight cut gears and a 1301 cc engine with hot cam and a roll cage and a fart can and all other bad stuff to contrast with the dull green and white paint scheme. It was amazing on a twisty country lane, but a bore on a wide highway.

Have fun!
