Have you seen this MINI Birth Canal Video?

Perhaps most of you have already seen this, but for those who haven't, check it out! It's awesome! This video shows every step in the process your MINI goes through as it's built in the factory.

This is a very nice video indeed and I really enjoy seeing how the Cooper comes to life. I tried to check it out a few times in the owner's circle but it never worked. So thanks for the link.
Along those lines, if you are ever in Chattanooga, come by and see in person how we handcraft titanium bike frames. Now that is possibly even cooler.

I also thought the video was very cool. I was very impressed by all the automation.

When I went to visit my family for a nephew's birthday, I showed his 6 year old brother the video. I was talking so much about the "car that I was going to have next time I see them", that I thought he would like to see how it was made. He didn't seem too impressed after watching, but later in the day he told his mom he wanted to work at that place where Aunt Laurie's car was being made because they use robots and it was "awesome".

Indeed, that is a great video. I had the opportunity to see the process at the factory in person in June. Talk about amazing !! There were only four of us on the tour, so we got to go places larger groups do not get to go.

If you ever get to the UK... don't miss the factory in Oxford

There are a lot more vids on the mini uk site. For some reason the mini usa site hardly has anythign in comparison.
