2nd first post - short story
Wanted to start by thanking you guys/gals for all the valuable info you're disseminating daily. Saves us all alot of time and aggravation.
My short story:
Longtime fan of the original Minis, but I'm really not that much of a mechanic, so read everything I could get my hands on about the new MINI. Test drove an S at a dealer back in '03 and was in love. Wasn't yet seriously in the market, but happened to spot the car described below in the paper for $21,500 (back in April), and thought HMMMM, I THINK that's a good price for that! Isn't it?
Tough negotiator my wife is, we got it for $20K. In April '05 the car was 18 months old w/ 18K miles on it (and the S-lites and Pirelli run-flats).
So how do you get this dumb grin off your face?
Anyway, I've been learning alot from NAM and wanted to express appreciation.
Cheers

NAM is certainly a great place for new Mini lovers. Members have done a great deal to help me through a whole bunch of things from solving problems to upgrading components. I really don't know how I would have done half the things I have done to my car without the members of NAM. The other thing NAM does is feed your pashion to do more with your Mini
