Production Week 33 (8/15/05) Support Group
Hello everyone,
I wanted to begin a thread for parents anticipating a birth sometime this week. At first I was confused as to whether production weeks are based on when you first get notice that your car's "Production is Scheduled" or when you anticipate your baby is completed. It turned out to be the latter; so, for those who have been told that the anticipated completion date is on Aug 21 or earlier, I'm guessing that you would be a 33er as well. Can't wait to hear from others as well as from older or younger sybling who certainly have a lot to share in this experience many have characterized as excruciating anticipation

I got my MINI late May so I have not responded to the 1st gear thread in awhile (been out driving). Anyway, hope that you have found the threads on how to track your ship. (very cool)
I would like to say that waiting for your car it the best part, BUT, actually having it is way better.
As the Rabbi said "it won't be long now".

Hi OldMan,
This has been quite a unique experience, in part, because you know it is shared by so many people despite its "fanatic"
nature. It also appears that it crosses gender, age, and racial lines. It's funny to know that people can be as obsessive (or even so much more) and that being such is actually quite o.k. Can't wait to start driving though and experience the wonderful test drive exhiliration
, but this time, with your own car.

This Just in!
The day finally got here!
After a long difficult wait through production completion on 14 Aug 2005. Then a long boat ride to the West coast making port on the 24th of September and then arriving at the Dealer on the 1st of Oct. The day finally came when I could say the MINI is mine. Picked up Oct, 8th.
