On the "waiting" list

It is still going to be months before I can order it!

I'm sure as I grow closer to actually placing an order, I will quit lurking and start asking all sorts of dumb questions.

Driving my wife's car while waiting though, missing a sports car.

Have you considered ordering out of state to shorten your wait time? I did... cut about 4 months off of this agonizing wait!

Welcome. . .

The waiting game is hard enough when you already have a MINI and are waiting for the second one to be built! You must be going nuts and I feel for you.

Glad you've stopped lurking and joined the discussion. Feel free to ask all of the questions you can come up with!

Do you have a large version of this image? That is awesome and i have never seen it before! Would love to see it big!

Yes, welcome and that is a fantastic sigline! I agree...can we see a less-mini version of it?

Don't be shy about asking questions...and do learn how to use the Search function!

I know the feeling. I can't order my MINI until about March due to money issues as well as some life things to straighten out. I've built my MINI about 1000 times so far on miniusa.com and will do so another 1000 times before I order. As far as questions go, there are no stupid questions. Yeah, I know we have all heard that one before, but every little thing that you will have to decide on for your MINI (everything from packages...to aux input ports) defines your MINI. I'm still deciding if mine will have: 1) web spokes vs. regular 2) performance vs. all weather 3) Gray letherette interior and 4) JCW air filter (probably will wait and buy that one later or get an after market intake)

So welcome to the waiting to order one club, I think we have jackets to.

Not sure your location but if you are in SoCal you can actually order one today at South Bay and have it in roughly 4-5 mnths.

Thank you all

First thanks for all of the positive response. I do have a large image. I created it today just for use on NAM. I will gladly email a larger version to anyone who asks. my email is joerktect@hotmail.com

I live in Seattle. the wait is about 10 months, I have 8.5 to go. The wait is self imposed. It seems like I look at the Hamptons and Pittsburg inventory every week! I live downtown and we only need one car. so ... I'm trying to be good and wait while saving money.

Downtown Seattle huh, that would be a great place for a Mini. The wife and I were there back in May and absolutly loved Seattle. Had a job interview for a state job in Seattle but couldnt make it, thinkin that I missed the boat on that 0ne.
Good Luck on enduring the wait.

Hey, I'm from Seattle too--NW MINI originally told me January production when I ordered in June, but since then, they bumped me up to the Sept production group. You might be getting a four-month bump as well.

Good luck!
