Newbie with '05 MCSa
I am a new Cooper S owner and love this site. You guys pushed me over the edge with all the great information and I just picked up my new 2005 Cooper S with tiptronic yesterday. It is pure silver with black interior. The car is a blast to drive and it really feels like a go kart around the corners. Looking for a ton of fun in this car.

bluebeemer and MiniPete, congratulations to you both, great MINI choices!
I guess you almost can't go wrong! bluebeemer, what ship is your MINI on? Mine will be coming to Charleston eventually and I'm trying to figure out what line serves there.

JC ... My MINI was originally scheduled for the AIDA, then the Otello, then disappeared from WW's tracking system on the date it left England. Since the Franconia left the same day, my MA said it was most likely on it. At the time, his info showed arrival in SC on 9/12 but didn't have Bill of Lading info. Charleston Harbor now shows the AIDA docking on 9/12 and Franconia on 9/13.

as an early built date (Feb 05) MCSa owner, I'd like to congrats you on your new purchase and welcome to the board.
just a quick heads up: don't be surprised that once you past the 1250 mile mark, your mind starts to think about all the upgrade possibilities...
FYI, there are plenty of mods (small to major) that can be done to the MCSa. Do your research first and you'll be able to come the some conclusions as to which part to buy & add to your motoring pleasure
