'06 MCS on board the Otello!
#26
Hey Scooper, let me know what kind of rack you use. I have an 18' Guillemot Night Herron that I built a couple of years ago. It won't be quite the standout that yours will be. Mine is strip planked and finished bright. Let me see pictures when you finish.
Have you contacted Cooper Flags regarding the lips? I think you will like them. They would look great on a black MINI.

Still coming to Charleston, presumably next week.
Does anyone else have their MINI on this ship? Has anyone heard of this ship? I hate to bug my MA again, but...
Bwana, Red Ryder, Funny thing, I'm gonna need a kayak rack too for a Chesapeake LT17, if I ever find the time to finish it with an MCS waiting to play.
Should be quite a sight with a long, bright yellow kayak on a short little black car.
Definitely will need a red flag on the stern.

Thanks, Wraith1416, for the sanity check on the Ingolstadt.
Sorry for the delayed arrival. Sounds like the Captain may be trying to steer clear of Ophelia. OK by me.
Red Ryder, maybe its not as shockingly bright as my yellow, but a bright varnished Guillemot Night Heron is really one beautiful kayak. I seriously considered trying my hand at a standard Guillemot but decided I was not handy or patient enough to tackle it. Its not done yet so I haven't thought about my rack.
Well, let me see what I can find out about the Ingolstadt.
Good luck to all on the Otello.

ok, slight issue for those of us on the Ingolstadt. i just got off the phone with K-lines and according to them, my car is going thru the Charleston VDC as opposed to Newark/New York. this does not make a great deal of sense to me. my car is being bought thru Classic MINI, i'd think the NY VDC is closer than Charleston. can anyone help me figure this out?

Wraith1416, hard to figure why your MINI stayed onboard.
Maybe the VDC by Newark is overloaded and your MINI will be processed more quickly at Charelston. I have read here of MINIs delivered to Galveston, TX, about 80 miles from my dealer, yet mine is going to Charleston, probably 1600 miles away. Hang in there! They are almost here. :impatient

Oh well.. scheduled to unload in Charleston tomorrow at Union Pier Terminal.
Wonder how long it takes to get through the VDC and on a truck.![Sly](https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/images/smilies/sly.gif)
