Daflake - you think the wait's bad now? Just wait till you get your (absolutely loaded) MINI Cooper S - those break-in miles are pure hell. Last car I bought over there was a brand new '92 BMW 318is - keeping your foot out of if on the autobahn and the B-straßen and various other twisties. . .the worst couple of weeks I ever spent in a car. Literally.

But once you get it broken in and ready to rip, you're gonna be in heaven. Nobody on the planet drives like the Germans. I envy you, man. Enjoy!!

Thanks Donna. Cecil and I actually bought them around the same time and know each other. So, we already have a small club started... :p

Kind of odd that I never considered myself a car guy until this little car popped into my life. I've never been so excited. It is going to be a blast!

Bill,

One of the absolute pleasures of living here is driving with the Germans. I never have to guess what the person in front of me is going to do. Such fun.... Add MINI maddness to that and it quadruples in pleasure. Yes, staying off the gas during the break-in is going to be miserable, but there will be a full report once we get past that point...

Even the wife is getting a little excited.

All,

Truth be known, "Daflake" and I not only know each other, we work for the same company, work in the same office, and work on the same training team. . he's just the younger and smarter one !

We've both turned into "Mini Nuts" ! Anyway, when we finially pickup our new Mini's I'm sure everyone will get sick of seeing all the pics for the first few weeks ! More later. . . .. .

Dats All Folks,

Well, hopefully we will get the same production week. Cecil already got his but I have yet to recieve mine (financing took a little longer for me). If we do, we may be recieving them at the same time. Not that would be COOL!

There will be plenty of pics to post when our new babies arrive.
