Now the hard part...waiting.

Hi All,

Ater patiently waiting (well, sort of patiently) 2 years since my first test drive, I ordered my 06 CR/CR MCS this week. Went pretty light on options to keep price down. Premium package and DSC. Dropping hints for an IPOD adapter or checkerboard sunroof decal for Christmas. Hopefully, Santa will be good to me.

Good for you and welcome!

Patience is a virtue (or so they saw) and you will be rewarded

From one newbie to another, welcome to NAM! I am also waiting to my new 06 to arrive,so I feel your pain. Good thing they have forums like this. It is kind of like an AA group...

Waiting is hard, for sure. When do you expect delivery?

Yes that waiting can be hard, but stick with us and we will get you through it

I waited for 3 years before getting Francis and it was well worth the wait.
Cheers

3 year wait for me as well.

What's also hard is the time period from order date to the date you need to lock-in your options selection (3 weeks I am told). Maybe I should also get...

I wanted a Convertible S, but I am to impatient. I couldn't stand the 3 month wait. I wanted my car NOW. So, I have Molly. Not too sorry about not waiting though.

I ordered my Mini Cooper last Saturday. I was told it should be delivered in December... I'm not sure I can stand the wait!

Yayyyy for you!!!! I know it seems like the wait will take FOREVER, but hanging around in here DEFINITELY helps the wait much more painless...

I'm not sure I agree. I, too, REALLY want my MCS, and I am nearly addicted (in a bad way) to this site. I think I may need "out of sight out of mind" for a while.
