Welcome to NAM. . . for another newbee from Heidelberg, Germany!
I just ordered my 2006 MCS JCW a couple a few weeks ago and I'm going "Bonkos" with the waiting :impatient :impatient :impatient . . . ! I'ts scheduled to be delivered around the end of October, first of November at the latest. Man, I can hardly wait.
By the way, I own and drive a 1999 C5 Corvette (modified) here in Germany as well, but I'm really looking forward to adding my MCS to that spot in the garage. It should be a blast to drive over here .
I hope you decide to take the plunge and buy the Mini. . . you'll love it I'm sure !

Miatas are cool. They kind of blur the line between car and skateboard.
nah seriously, though, they are cool. I just wish they were a little bigger. They're one of the best price-per-performance sportscars I know of. And I don't fit. :(
I like Mazdas, though. I almost got a 6s before deciding on the Mini. Not enough shoulder room in the 6, and its engine drove more like a turbo 4 than a naturally aspirated 6. But it was still a lot of fun to drive. I can only imagine how much tighter the Miata must be with RWD and a perfect weight balance.
