You go to the Wallenius website, click on cargo tracking, select Auto shipment, and then type in your full VIN, WMWRE....... whatever, then you should see if it is dockside and what vessel it is booked on. Caution: That is not necessarily the vessel it will go on, but watch every few days and see if it changes or remains the same....

I don't think the OL [owner's lounge] is that far off in vehicle tracking, like others have experienced. Today it changed to WAITING FOR TRANSPORT.
It was just a day or so ago that the ASKMINI woman, (was it Meg?), told me it was being scheduled for a truck to the port. It's in the Port now and awaiting shipment. This is mooovingg....right along. I still can't find it on the WW cargo tracking.
My MA will be back tomorrow so maybe by Monday (11-7) or so he can give me a ship, whooopee!

Awaiting transport!!
Mine is at the dock too! I don't know what vessel it will be on yet....I should ask my MA but I feel I've been bugging him too much lately as it is.
I can't wait to get it! Just knowing it is all built and put together..... (sigh) I want it. Now.
Guess I'll just have to wait! Hopefully our babies won't get sea-sick!

Anybody know how to figure out what boat you are on? I asked ASK MINI, but they couldn't tell me which one. I was on the W2global website and I see that a boat is leaving on the 7th, but I also noticed that Kline lines has one leaving about the same time? Does anyone know which one it would be?
Thanks,
Mike

Yiipppeee, right now "Pepe" is logged into the terminal @ Southhampton from 11-2, the day after build completion. Passage berth on the UNDINE at the moment, first and fastest boat out of the U.K. on 11-7-05.
Makes sense I don't think the "slow boat" would agree with his intended mission in life. We shall see, we shall see...

The sales manager at my dealership told me my car would take 2-3 days to get to the dealership from the port, but I'm in Tampa - I would think a few more days to get to dallas. Congratulations on making the 11.7 boat - I was hoping to make that one too but I'll have to wait for the following week.

Today I learned that Nancy is on the dock waiting for the boat to pick her up!
I was looking at my VIN and the first letter is W and according to http://www.sjbaker.org/telamom/vin.html this means it was manufactured in Germany. I thought MINI's were manufactured in the UK. Does anyone know what is going on here?
Also, does anyone know which port the ship will depart from and which port it will arrive, or is it a crap-shoot and I won't know until it is underway?

Type in the VIN number and if your MINI is scheduled on a boat via this company, you will find out which one she is on and what port she will be headed to. If for some reason your MINI isn't listed, its either going to venture out on the sea via a different company or it just hasn't been booked on the boat yet.
The other way you can find out is to ask your Motoring Advisor at your dealership...they should know. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replys everyone!
Another thing I was wondering... I got my VIN by calling MINI-Usa, but I keep seeing people post about getting their VIN off the Owners Lounge web site. I've looked around but I'm not seeing anything about the VIN on the website. Did I misunderstand the provious posters or am I just not looking in the right place.
Thanks!
