H/K stereo manual

All I got with my new MCS was a fold-out card describing the menus of the H/K. My MA says there is nothing else.

Has anyone anything more complete?

I can figure most things out by experimentation, but the terseness of the card bothers me.

Thanks for the link to the manual. I was having the same issues with finding out all the functions. Now at least I have some help while getting confused!

Your MA is supposed to go through all the features of the car (though mine left out the mp3 playing ability of the HU). I think mine was all happy because they updated the 2006 manuals, so he was looking at all the pictures with a silly grin.

Go back and demand some money back! He didn't do his job! Or DID he do his job and shove DIG (iPod Adapter, Aux input) at you?

Because it is not a manual for a 2005, they never updated the manual.

Awesome, thanks for posting that! I'm not going to buy the Doobies CD, though.

I don't really see how the AUX adapter is really all that bad, personally. After all, you can navigate with a MP3 player easier than you can with the numerical track listing the mp3 CD offers.

Yes but if you have heard the cd player or aux in compared to the ipod adapter you would be blown away by how much better the adapter sounds. it brings life to the H/K's

Speed volume

On p. 10 of that manual it talks about setting the speed volume. For the life of me, I can't do what it says. After TONE LIN, the only option I get is NAVI MIN volume. After that it's "Reset?".

Has anyone successfully changed speed vol on their H/K?

I noticed the same thing in my '06 with the h/k stereo... must be an option they removed for the new model year...

However, the setting for the Speed Volume does nothing on the H/K system, it has one setting, and even though you can set it, there is no change.
