i too am week 46 production. i can't wait to pick my baby up. i live in phoenix but placed my order through classic mini in ohio. the phoenix dealer wanted up to 7 months to get my a car. classic mini is doing it under 2 months. the level of service blows my local dealer away as well.

i'm just sooo geeked about my little red bastard being built the same week of my birthday. after checking the ol 2 to 4 times a day....day after day i'm happy to say my little baby is awaiting transport. about how long after it's "awaiting transport" am i able to find what ship/line is bringing me my new toy?

so ya there's my first post.

 

Once your car reaches the port 866 ask-MINI can't tell you anymore info. Check with your dealer. They should be able to tell you what ship & when it's due in.

I was able to find out what ship mine is on & its schedule by using this info.

Yes our cars aren't even built yet, OK maybe some sub assemblies but here is some tracking links that should be helpful!

Go back to the Customer Centre menu and select Schedules.

Select Search by Voyage under Schedule Options and plug in your Voyage info.

There's your shipping schedule!
tracking NYK ships:

NYK does not have a tracking system, so information has to be gleaned in a roundabout way. The NYK website estimates an arrival at Port Hueneme on 10/9 (24 days).

(1) I got the ship name and line from my MA, then looked it up on the NYK website:

I found out the service route, including ports of call, from the PCC/RORO Service Network link. By the way, “RORO” means roll on/roll off in shipping jargon.

The route from Southampton to Port Hueneme in California on NYK Line is: Southampton, Port Newark, Baltimore, Charleston, Brunswick, Jacksonville, Panama Canal, San Diego, Los Angeles, Port Hueneme.

There are two ways that I can think of to track the ship. One is through vessel schedules on port websites. Some sites provide this and some don’t. I’ll list the helpful ones below. The other way is through vessel location websites. The Coast Guard has one at http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html, but I can’t seem to get it to work today. Lloyd’s of London has a service at www.ships-register.com that has a free trial. I’ve requested access, but don’t know if they’ll grant it.

I don’t know if it helps, but you can use the U.S. Coast Guard vessel search page to find the ship’s call sign:

Hey guys, my MCS is on the Liberty cruisin across the Atlantic. Is there any MINI buddies also out there on this boat? If so what did you get, and where are you from. My Mini is headed to Ft. Worth TX when it hits U.S.

Alright guys, I do believe I'm in production week 46 (not too familiar with how to tell) and as of today, Sunday the 20th, my MINI is listed as "awaiting transport"! Now, I'm sure this has been asked dozens of times, but can anyone ballpark how long it takes from that stage? There is the posibility that your MINI is already enroute. My MCS shipped on the 17th, but only today the 20th has it shown as enroute in the OL. Call 866-ask-MINI tomorrow & see if it's shipped. I bet it has.

That's how I found mine. You dealer should also be able to tell you what carrier you're on along with the schedue.

As of this morning my MINI, which finished production Saturday, shows as "awaiting transport" in the owners lounge and the WW website shows her booked on the Don Juan at 7:30 AM and received at the port at 9:30AM, and the Don Juan sails today !

How great is that timing ? !

Now hoping for smooth sailing and a clear shot at the VPC :smile:

 

Yesterday it looked like I was going to make the Don Juan, today WW shows me booked on the Integrity :impatient

 

Well that seems only fair to me since my car was done a few days before yours and is also booked on the Integrity.

 

Is anyone having trouble with http://ol.miniusa.com today? It won't even display my correct status!

My car was completed last Saturday and delivered to the docks, but I can't find it on the WW website. Is MINI shipping on K-line again?

Yes, Mini is using K-line again. I was originally on a WW ship, but got bumped and ended up on k-line. Good luck.

No, I've only been on Integrity

 

I knew it was to good to be true to arrive at the port and ship out the same day, somebody at WW must have jumped the gun by booking it on the Don Juan !

Well overall it is just a 2 day difference in NY Port arrival, the Integrity must be a faster ship !

 

Usually not a faster ship, but that the ship makes stops in other ports first...

I just checked my status at the 2Wglobal page and apparently I've been rebooked on the Falstaff due to leave Southampton tomorrow and arrive at Charleston on 12/3. So that's good news, five days sooner than the Integrity.

 

I don't have a delivery date in the OL yet. Since I'm on the same boat as UncleFester & due to land on Dec 1 our delivery dates should be about the same time. My last car only took 5 days from landing in Charleston to landing at the dealer. I hope this one is shipped quickly too.

Spoke w/ my MA this past weekend. According to him Malice will offload in New Jersey. Kinda strange because WW website does not show a stop in Jersey. Prob so close to NY the WW website just calls it NY........

 

My car is in 'waiting for transport' limbo! It finished production 5 days ago but doesn't show on the WW system. The Owners Lounge just says 'waiting for transport'. I called an MA yesterday and he just confirmed the 'waiting for transport' status.

On my first car (just a few weeks ago... they screwed up the roof color), the WW website showed that it had been received as soon as it got to the dock. I'm hoping that the car will make it on the Falstaff today! Oh well...

 

The Falstaff has been pushed back to the 26th for departure from Southampton and arrival at Charleston is now on the 5th.
