Took the plunge....

Well, went to Flow today, test drove the MC and ordered!!

I had already driven the S, just wanted to make sure the MC was equally fun and I wasn't disappointed....

This is what I went with, forgive me if I don't have the Mini shorthand down yet...

06 MC 5speed, PW/blk with blk bonnet stripes, anthracite interior, sport seats, premium pkg and cold weather pkg, standard wheels and rims, panther leather shift **** and foot rest....

Thats it....

Certainly feel like I am getting quite a bit for the money I am spending...

Color was up in the air to the very end....came down to PW/blk, BRG/silver or HB/blk....

So.....8 wks or so till I am motoring...

Congratulations, I went with the MC also after driving both. Both are great cars, I wanted the extra mileage and was afraid of getting speeding tickets with the S. Ours is awaiting transport, sitting on the dock in England waiting on the ship pickup on Monday.

Congrats, runningman! Believe me, the color choice is one that many of us have agonized over! Your specs sound great! 8 weeks is really not bad. In the early days of 02, many of us had to wait months and months!

edit: Dawg, you can get tickets in either MINI...I know, because I have!

Runningman- "you chose wisely" Nice specs.

In early 03 I waited ten months for mine.

Good to see more Intelegent Motorists who aren't "Whine-o's" You have ordered a MINI, there is nothing to compensate for.

Those are the exact colors we debated about. Although, I quickly found out that my wife didn't like the HB, so that was out. And since it is her car I let her make the final choice, which ended up being PW/B. I can't wait to get it!
