Where are you guys getting sailing times from? The WW sites (http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSche...oyageSearch.do) only show the day of departure and arrival - no times.
bluzeke - From the above site, it has been showing 2/1 as the departure date for the Boheme (at least since I was booked on 1/26). This tracking is driving me nuttier than I already am.

Ok. I'm clearly doing something wrong. If bluzeke (congrats, btw! ) jumped from body shop straight to booked w. details then I/we should surely have something by now.
I'm going to this page: http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do
Click Auto Cargo
Says Cargo ID
input my FULL vin.. 5 letters, 3 #s, letter, #, 2 letters, 5 #s
Then get a big fat message that says No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered
I've gone insane. I admit it. sigh.

Stefanie:
That is exactly the correct URL and sequence to go through. I also entered your VIN from when you displayed it with your order confirmation and got the same results. The message you are getting is what I got on 1/25 after Emma finished with production (released to distribution or carrier status) but before the carrier acknowledged it. I think a call to ASK-MINI is in order for your piece of mind. Best of Luck.

193 Arrived at Port of Exit [RECEIVED AT TERMINAL]!
Woohoo!
My MA told me today that my MINI was showing this status code on his daily report.
Which seems very quick, since he also said I was still in production as of yesterday's report.
But whatever ... am wondering if I can catch the ride leaving tomorrow. Will have to begin checking my VIN on the WW site. So exciting! :-)

I was just reading information on the Southampton Port site (http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customer...thern%20Europe) and noticed the following:
All cargo must be received 4 working days prior to the vessel closing.
Might explain why our MINIs miss one ship and make another.

I got to enter 6 radio presets, decide on DRL, follow-me-home, and a couple other items. It listed my dealer, so clearly they'll get the items and will have my car setup when I get there.
What a fantastic way to a) make us feel loved during the long wait and b) reach out with a valuable service to the customer. Mercedes and Lexus talk about their customization features in ads, but it's clear that MINI pioneered this. Totally the future of corporate-customer relations. Expect more of this in your life, not less.

Anyone out there understand VIN's???
I'm still not getting any tracking info with my VIN, looking at other VIN's out there, they are different than mine..for example-
the first part of my vin is wmwre33526
others seem to be following this pattern:
wmwre335x6
I have 5 letters, then 5 numbers....others have 5 letters, 3 numbers, 1 letter, one number....
Any ideas, do vin's normally not all follow the same format???

jasonsmf:
Here is a link to decode your VIN: http://www.mini2.com/forum/faq.php?f...faq_vin_decode
Essentially, the last 6 digits are a production sequence - I would love to find out how this relates to a date of manufacture.

For Whatever It's Worth Department
Probably more evidence that there's really little rhyme or reason to all of this:
In studying SweetTea's Cargo History Report above, I note that he has a VIN # 12 lower than mine (20870 vs. 20882), was "booked" and "received at terminal" about 4 hours earlier than me - YET, I'm supposedly casting off tomorrow on the Boheme while his car will have to cool its' jets 4 more days before departing on the Integrity.
Go figure?!?! Sounds like it's all kind of a crap shoot.

TL20529 Here:
My MCS got on the Maersk Tide on the 25th of January, almost a week ago now. Come to find out, the Maersk Tide isn't a WW Vessel, They must also subcontract some of their work as that boat belongs to A.P. Moller Co, one of the largest shipping companies in the world. It is a bit smaller boat and holds 4,000 cars. I must have just gotten really lucky.
