HELP with MY NEW MC...........!

Hello. I just picked up my 2006 MC/Royal Grey/ on 12/18/05....!

Could someone enlighten me, as to what items I should have received from

the dealership...? Moreover, I'm quite anxious about the BUMPERS...! Any

suggestions on protection from city parking......? Thanks- Jack

Jack,

Congratulations on the new MC, I love Royal Grey...would've gotten it myself if I had ordered a few months later! As far as items you should have received...

1) Two MINI keys and one plastic "emergency" key
2) Owner's Manual
3) Floormats for free (if you were lucky?)
4) The car.

Am I missing anything?

Welcome to NAM. Nice color. Where are you located??

Don't remember what all I got don't even know if I got everything I should have but I don't think they would hold out on us. So unless you are missing the left front fender I wouldn't worry

Instead of possible free mats mentioned above, I received a free cup holder. Since then, I've bought mats and removed the cup holder. When I graduated from college, I spent a week getting ready to move to NYC for my first real job, including rebuilding my 64 Austin Cooper's grill. It came out really nice and lasted about a week in Manhattan. I wish you and your MINI the best of luck! Find a good place to park (a garage in Queens?) and take public transportation during the week (once the strike is over).

Yes, there is the welcome kit, however as to not confuse the new owner...it comes in the mail after a few weeks of ownership, not from the dealer

My new Mini came with these extras:
  1. Rubber floor mats
  2. Key chain
  3. 1:32 scale Mini model
  4. Cup holder
  5. Glovebox organizer
  6. Oil filter (I asked, they provided 1 for free, cool...)
  7. Front plate kit (just in case I decide to install it later)
There was something else, but I forgot....I'm getting old.
