hey hey, just got a pepper white!
My wife's been thinking about it, then thinking about, then thinking about for over a year. FINALLY, picked one up last night, a regular Cooper with cvt and cruise control, white with black roof.

We thought we'd take advantage of year-end sales quotas and it paid off. We were able to get a pretty good deal by getting rid of dealer installed extras and getting a discount on their mark-up. All in all a great experience and the sales guy was friendly and worked with us.

Now, just gotta be patient with that break-in...

Congrats & welcome. I love that color comination. I'm also working on the break-in. At least you didn't have to go though the long wait after you ordered. Heck your wife only thought about it for a year. It took me three to make up my mind.

(shhhh) Don't tell, but PW is the fastest color . . . Congrats.

I am a proud new owner (October) of a 2006 PH/Silver Cooper CVT. My husband is a long time owner of a MCS manual transmission (BRG/W). We are both thrilled with our cars.

In his modesty, Uncle John didn't mention that PW is also the official local MINI color for frozen custard runs.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the reason they are discontinuing Liquid Yellow is because it was the fastest/best color ever.

heh heh heh Well, we have formed sort of a Pepper White Posse that meets on some Tuesday nights to ingest frozen custard at a little shop in Mansfield Texas. One night we had 12 MINIs show up and half were PW. The rest were various shades of light black, with one electric blue thrown in for a splash of color.

Here's a picture of the posse from last summer. That's when Percy-bob still had his red stripes.

Welcome. Good choice in color! PW is the fastest, it doesn't have all that metal flake to weigh it down.
