Hello from Ohio
Hi guys and girls,
I have a couple posts in the week 4 support group, but I might as well introduce myself. After drooling over the new MINI since it came out and I was a poor college student, my 2006 Cooper S is finally on order. I've been playing with/working on/autocrossing Triumphs for the past 15 years (well, ok, only driving them for the past 8 or 9 years....) , I really like the whole British car scene, the MINI was the perfect choice for me as a fun daily driver, this was blatantly obvious to me as soon as I hit the road on my first test drive at Classic MINI. My car is (will be....):
MCS 6 speed
BRG/W with Union Jack roof flag
Sport Package (minus bonnet stripes)
Cold Weather Package
Convenience Package
LSD
Chrono Package
Rear Fog
MFSW
Auto A/C
From reading around here at NAM, it looks like this is a good community of enthusiasts and a very good resource. I'm really looking forward to MINI ownership.
Jason

Jason,
Welcome to NAM from another Buckeye (although now transplanted to sunny Florida). We've driven Miami-Mini (as in the REAL Miami in Oxford) back home twice and enjoyed both drives. Must be why I have 21K on her and she's just a little over 1 year old.
I've learned a lot from the different posts and enjoy reading a lot of different things.
Welcome.

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes!!! With my car actually in production now, the excitement builds. One of the things I love about the old British cars is the way everyone gives a little wave or thumbs up when you see another out on the road, sounds like we have the same thing with MINIs...awesome!!!!
