The best way to find out is to call MINI and talk to one of the customer service reps. They can tell you the week it will be built.

well i'm totally lost too...Aug or Sept of this year... or, are you saying you ordered a car over 4 months ago and it's still not in production? But still, how does that happen - and what the heck did you order? I did hear that the regular Mini has been cut way back but the "S" model is still in full swing... could this be the problem?

You can also plug your production number into the MINIUSA.com website "owners lounge" and it will give you some info.

I am supposed to be scheduled for week 9 according to the order paperwork which is the last week of Feb/first week of March and my MA says I should be able to pick up my car late March or early April some time. However my guess is that if I really end up in week 9 that it's likely to be before the end of March for my delivery since I am east coast. I guess spring time is probably pretty busy based on past stats, so it may take a little while to get thru the port. I am shocked that they would have told you you would need to wait until August. I think most people who are ordering these days have 2-3 month waits.

You're in SoCal, right? I can see your dealer telling you that it wouldn't be ready till Sept/Oct. Did you pay a bribe... oh I mean a SoCal markup ? Since you got the call however, call you self lucky

At this point, wait a couple weeks, the car will be built. Then 4-8 weeks later you'll have it. April sounds about right.

Congrats!

I placed my order for my PW/B MC the end of November and just got my call this week that it will be going into production for the March Allottment and that I should take delivery by the end of April. That is earlier than I was told too. I should have my production number by next week according to my MA
