brake pads??

looks like my wifes 04 mini needs brake pads..... i called the local shop he said he had a few pairs left but they were going to be discontinued whats everyone else using for pads??

EBC Greenstuff brake pads will reduce the amount of brake dust that accumulates on your wheels. Performance is at least as good and perhaps a little better than stock. They can also do a bit of squeeling at times. I hate excessive brake dust, so I use them. It depends on your priorities.

I think brake pads are a covered item under your warranty.

If your car is under 3 years old, pads are covered under the maintenace agreement.
